The third edition of the VW Golf, offered from 1993, inherited a difficult legacy. It continued the technical concept of its predecessor, but broke with the original design, particularly in the design of the headlights. With success, the third edition of the Golf maintained first place in the registration statistics.
Among the most striking special editions of the third-generation VW Golf were undoubtedly the ‘Color Concept’ models, painted in eye-catching colours. Available in five colours, it was the interior in particular that stood out. The seat upholstery, parts of the door trim, gear lever, handbrake lever and the small VW logo on the steering wheel were highlighted in the same colour as the bodywork.
