A committed brand since 2015

Encore! is a French brand born in 2015 in Villard-de-Lans, founded by a teacher and her journalist husband, both deeply committed to meaningful change. Their ambition is to create beautiful, durable, and meaningful toys, made with respect for people and the planet.

Today, Encore! wooden toys are made in Europe, in Poland, from FSC-certified wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. We mainly use beechwood, a hard and sturdy material, smooth to the touch and splinter-free, perfectly suited for little hands. Our cabin is made of spruce, a light and luminous wood that evokes nature and simplicity.

All our toys are painted with Farrow & Ball colors, a renowned British brand known for its eco-friendly paints, rich in natural pigments, free from solvents and toxic emissions.

Our organic cotton rabbits are crafted in India, where cotton naturally grows, in a women-run workshop dedicated to inclusion and empowerment through work. Their clothes, also made from eco-friendly cotton, are carefully hand-sewn.
