The Ford Escort Cosworth was developed in 1991 as a homologation model for the Group A World Rally Championship. Based on the Sierra Cosworth, the vehicle was built in two versions: the first 2500 units were equipped with a large Garrett turbocharger and a water-cooled intercooler, just like the motorsport versions. In order to make the vehicle more suitable for everyday use, the Escort Cosworth was fitted with a smaller turbocharger from the end of 1994. This second generation was also available without the large rear wing, which most customers ordered nevertheless.

The Norev model owes its perfect proportions to CAD data created from a 3D-scanned prototype. Our strictly limited-edition webshop model stands out not only for its Imperial Blue Metallic paintwork but also for its twin headlights – a feature often retrofitted to the original models which were inspired by successful rally cars.
