The 963 is Porsche's latest attempt to win another overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in addition to the World Sportscar Championship. In its second year of competition in 2024, the British private team Hertz Team Jota fielded two Porsche 963s, which quickly gained a large fan base. At Lone Star Le Mans at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, both cars were given an attractive special livery.
