Between 1969 and 1977, the Diplomat V8 from Opel was one of the few vehicles in the German luxury car class. Thanks to its superior drive and technically sophisticated chassis, the large Opel was one of the top cars of the time.
Then as now, dark, elegant colours are the preferred choice for luxury cars. Cedar Green, a very dark shade, was consequently a popular choice for the Opel Diplomat. The black vinyl roof, a popular optional extra, complements the exterior colour just as well as the beige interior.
