VW Golf Cabriolet Quartett 1992 Inca Blue 1:18

It was a difficult legacy for the VW Golf Cabriolet when it appeared at the end of the 1970s. Initially derided as a ‘strawberry basket’ due to its distinctive roll bar, the open-top Golf quickly outsells the nostalgic Beetle Cabriolet.

In addition to the standard model, VW offered numerous interesting special editions of the Golf Cabriolet. The ‘Quartett’ was available in four colours and, in addition to a rich, colour-coordinated interior, featured ‘Avus’ rims with spokes partially painted in the car's colour.
