In the summer of 1962, GM presented the second generation of the successful Chevrolet Corvette. The new vehicle, which was given the suffix ‘Sting Ray’, was now also available in a closed version for the first time. A special feature of the coupé was the split rear window, which was replaced after just one year by a standard one-piece design.
Painted in classic Sebring Silver Metallic, the captivating lines of the original are beautifully accentuated. The interior is red, and the number plate reveals that the original was registered in the state of Michigan.
