Opel Diplomat V8 1969 Copper Red 1:18

Between 1969 and 1977, the Diplomat V8 from Opel was one of the few vehicles in the German luxury car class. Thanks to its superior drive and technically sophisticated chassis, the large Opel was one of the top cars of the time.

Almost unimaginable today, from the late 1960s it was quite common for a luxury-class vehicle to be offered - and bought - in eye-catching colours. Copper red metallic, in combination with a beige interior, was considered as dignified as it was elegant at the time. And this is also reflected in the Norev model of the Diplomat.
