Mercedes-Benz 230 SL 1963 Horizon Blue 1:18

As the successor to two successful predecessors, the 230 SL inherited a heavy legacy. The internally titled W 113 model series was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963 and was nicknamed the "Pagoda" shortly afterwards due to its concave hardtop. By the end of production in 1971, almost 49,000 of the elegant roadsters had been produced.

In numerous films and television series, cars sometimes play a more significant role than human actors. Our model, painted in Horizon Blue (DB304), was used in a German tragicomedy from 1997 and brought the two main actors, Till Schweiger and Jan-Josef Liefers, to their desired destination.
