Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Cabriolet 1963 Riverside Red 1:18

In the summer of 1962, GM presented the second generation of the successful Chevrolet Corvette. The new vehicle, which was given the name ‘Sting Ray’, was now also available in a closed version for the first time. In contrast to its predecessor, the new model was also available as a coupé - but the convertible sold better.

Three colours of the 1963 Corvette model year bore the name of a race track as an addition - in the case of the red of our Norev model ‘Riverside’. Typical of the time, the interior was also red. Whitewall tyres and registration in the state of Indiana complete the picture of this all-round successful model.
