With the launch of the Volkswagen Golf GTI, a new segment of small sporty cars emerged. French manufacturers, eager to get a share of the market, also joined the race. For Peugeot, the 205 GTI stands as the French answer.

The restyled 1987 version of the Peugeot 205 GTI is equipped with a 1.9L engine producing 130 horsepower, allowing it to reach a top speed of 206 km/h. Despite its sporty performance, the 205 GTI remains versatile and can be used for everyday commuting.
