To prepare for the end of production of the ageing Renault 4, then the entry-level car of Renault, several projects followed one another and finally came to a project with the code name: X-06.

This prefigured an entry-level vehicle that would abandon its basic and rustic character. The new car was to be clever, modular, versatile, simple, habitable and practical. This is the Renault Twingo.

Presented at the 1992 Paris Motor Show, it went on sale in 1993.

So here we are in 2023 and Twingo is celebrating its 30th anniversary. For this anniversary, we offer you a nice gift box. The miniatures are painted in the first standard colours: Indian yellow, ultramarine blue, coral red and coriander green.
