Berliet T100 n°1 1960 Red without side panels 1:43

The T100 n°1 is the first of the series of 4 T100 trucks built by Berliet. 

It was built in 1957 at the Lyon Monplaisir factory, and was then used for advertising purposes at various exhibitions (Lyon, Grenoble, Geneva, Casablanca, Helsinki, Frankfurt).  In the same year, the T100 n°1 was awarded the Grand Prix de l'Art et de l'Industrie Automobile Français. It is only in 1960 that it will join the T100 n°2 in Algeria where it will be used in the oil exploitation from 1962. The truck is still in Algeria.

The miniature we have here is the extended version of the T100 n°1 in its red paint. We can also see the 700hp mention in the front grille and the platform without sides.
