The Porsche 914 was intended to cover not one but two bases - it was to serve as the successor to the sporty Karmann Ghia at VW and at the same time become an affordable entry-level model for the Porsche company. While the 914 had a dubious reputation in its day due to the unclear model positioning between VW and Porsche and the poor build quality of the early examples, today it is a highly sought-after vehicle for collectors and enthusiasts. Our 1/18 scale model represents an early 914, recognisable by the characteristic chrome bumpers. The typical baby fox rims and the Bahia red paintwork round off the attractive appearance.
