After the success of the DS 19 and ID 19, Citroën developed a station wagon inspired by American wagons to surpass its French rivals (Peugeot 403, Renault Domaine, Simca Marly). First presented as a prototype at the 1958 Motor Show and released in its final version in 1959, this car expanded Citroën’s lineup with an innovative family model.
