Despite initial quality problems, the mid-range car, often referred to simply as the ‘124’, became a mainstay of the Mercedes-Benz range. The three-litre diesel engine in particular impressed buyers with its unpretentiousness and relatively low fuel consumption.

Blue-black (DB199) was one of the most popular colours for the estate version of the W124 saloon series, known as the T-model. Our Norev model combines this with a typical grey interior. The ‘D’ sticker on the boot lid is a typical feature of cars from that era.
