The Little Nellie gyrocopter is a small, single-seater aircraft, fully equipped with a powerful selection of gadgets from Q Branch. Piloted on armed reconnaissance missions by James Bond in You Only Live Twice, Little Nellie is forced to prove her mettle when she is engaged by helicopters operated by SPECTRE.

In fact, Little Nellie is an example of the Wallis WA-116 Agile gyrocopter. Developed in the 1960s by former Royal Airforce Wing Commander Ken Wallis, more than ten examples of the aircraft were built, with different variants offering several alternative engine options. One was even built to accommodate two people.
