Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.3-16 Race of Champions 1984 A. Senna 1:18
Available on November 17, 2026
To showcase the new 190 E 2.3-16, the Mercedes-Benz marketing department came up with the idea of having 20 identical cars, driven by the best drivers of the day, compete against one another at the inaugural race at the new Nürburgring in 1984. At the race in May 1984, nine former F1 world champions, two future F1 world champions and several winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans competed against one another. The victory went to Ayrton Senna, who was not yet a household name at the time. Starting from third on the grid, he took the lead on the very first lap and never relinquished it.
Norev has made modifications to its well-known 190 E 2.3-16 model to ensure it faithfully replicates the original. Racing seats, a roll bar, a rear bench seat, racing harnesses, and the famous decals featuring the No. 11 and the eye-catching driver’s name on the side are among the details that define this special car from Senna’s successful career.
