With the FIA requiring a minimum serial production of 400 vehicles for homologation of a vehicle for the 1976 racing season, the German manufacturer readies the 911 with a turbocharged engine.
It is the Porsche 911 Turbo type 930 that goes into production in 1975.
Initially with a displacement of 3.0l, the engine was upgraded to a 3.3L in 1978. This is the model we've reproduced for our toy model as you see here, in an attractive light blue paint.
With its devastatingly sporty looks and top-level performance (300hp, 260km/h), the first-generation Porsche 911 Turbo is now a classic.
