Ferrari F40 Competizione Red 1:12

To mark Ferrari's 40th anniversary, the F40 was the last Ferrari to be approved by founder Enzo Ferrari himself. As a racing model, the F40LM was designed for competition, while the Competizione was the custom-built model. The F40 featured a front bonnet with cooling air duct, large round headlights with four projectors, a large front spoiler and a variable rear spoiler, all combined to improve cooling and aerodynamics for racing.

The modified suspension, lighter interior and exterior weight and four-point seatbelt with driver's side bar as standard remained true to its sporting orientation. The basic 2.9-litre twin-turbo V8 was identical to that of the F40, but larger turbochargers and heat exchangers, which increased boost pressure and were combined with revised engine management, produced 700 bhp (official Ferrari data) and significantly more power.

With fewer than 20 examples produced, including the LM racing model, this Ferrari has become a valuable collector's item.
