Der Ford Escort Cosworth wurde 1991 als Homologationsmodell für die Gruppe-A-Rallyeweltmeisterschaft entwickelt. Das auf dem Sierra Cosworth basierende Fahrzeug wurde in zwei Versionen gebaut: die ersten 2500 Exemplare waren wie die Motorsport-Versionen mit einem großen Garrett-Turbolader und einem wassergekühlten Ladeluftkühler ausgestattet. Um das Fahrzeug alltagstauglicher zu machen, wurde der Escort Cosworth ab Ende 1994 mit einem kleineren Turbolader ausgestattet. Diese zweite Generation war außerdem ohne den großen Heckflügel verfügbar, den die meisten Kunden dennoch orderten.
Seine perfekten Proportionen verdankt das Norev-Modell CAD-Daten, die anhand eines 3D-gescannten Vorbildes erstellt wurden. Unser streng limitiertes Webshop-Modell besticht neben seiner Lackierung in Petrol Blue Metallic durch die im Original häufig nachgerüsteten Doppelscheinwerfer, die von den erfolgreichen Rallyfahrzeugen inspiriert wurden.

Das Modell ist schön gemacht aber die Farbe ist NICHT Imperial-Blau, sondern vermutlich Petrol- Blau. Leider wurde mein Feedback dazu nicht verstanden.

Bella versione stradale di una delle più famose auto da rally degli anni ‘90. Molto piacevole il colore blu scuro e alcuni particolari come i fari anteriori. Peccato solo che il modello non sia apribile.
Hi. I am very upset with the quality and finished of this model.I own a lot of Norev´s modells (more than 50 examplaires) and this is the worst with difference. In the pictures looks as good as usual. But whan you received it and see for real, is even worst that Solido (wich is doing very but very good models now, at a wonderful price). The tables have turned. Big deception.
