The first Cobra Mk III 427 S/C (semi-competition) of 1965, with a fuel tank capacity of a rare 159 litres, is today one of the most sought-after classic cars in the world, with a price tag that can reach several million euros for the road-going variant.

It is probably the wildest and most brutal muscle car supercar the world has ever produced; worse, it was originally offered for sale in a ?customer competition? version, with almost 485 official horsepower, for motor racing competition. Even today, more than half a century after it was built, its performance has nothing to envy of today's supercars.
