This 1/18 scale miniature has two openings to give a glimpse of BMW's meticulous work on the interior of this car.
It was on March 7, 1916 that BMW was formed, through the merger of two Munich-based mechanical companies, the Bayerische Flugzeugwerke and Rapp Motorenwerke, an aircraft engine manufacturer.
The BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R has a livery that refers to the arrival of BMW in the United States in 1975. This car has the BMW Motorsport colors on a white base.
This livery is also on the 3.0 CSL race car that won in 1975 the 12 Hours of Sebring and the IMSA GT championship at Laguna Seca, near Pebble Beach. It features carbon seats, and the Laguna Seca track on the wood dashboard.
