Unic Esterel Calberson and Trailer 1:43
At the end of the 1950s, UNIC, a French car and truck manufacturer, had an ageing range of bonneted trucks and competition was tough from other French manufacturers (Latil, Panhard, Renault, Somua).
In 1961, UNIC presented the first trucks with a forward cabin.
In 1962, the range was extended by the Esterel cabs. These can be equipped with 6-cylinder engines and the total rolling weight is 35 tons!
The miniature is offered with a van-type trailer, under the colours of the Calberson and SNCF companies.
The cab also has a headlight system that lights up.
The trailer can be unhooked from the tractor and held in place by a stand. It can also be opened at the rear with a sliding plastic curtain.
AA battery required for headlight illumination (not included)
