Tiger 131 restored and operated by The Tank Museum Bovington
One of James Bond's most memorable enemies was Auric Goldfinger, 'the man with the Midas touch', and the owner of this iconic Rolls Royce Sedance de Ville. Driven by Oddjob, his deadly Korean servant, the car was a crucial part of Goldfinger's plans as a smuggler, with parts of the vehicle recast from melted gold ingots. This allowed Goldfinger to smuggle the precious metal across borders undetected.
The number plate AU 1 on this vehicle refers to the chemical symbol for gold in the periodic table.
