Launched in the early 1960s, the Alfa Romeo 105 series saloon, the Giulia, established the class of sporty, driver-orientated family cars. Powered by the famous Alfa twin-camshaft engine, the Giulia achieved driving performance that was otherwise reserved for thoroughbred sports cars.
AR716, ‘Grigio Grafite’ - even the most banal colour names sound beautiful and interesting in Italian. Yet this grey is a typical shade of the early 1960s, when pastel paintwork was very popular with buyers. And turned the spirited Giulia into an automotive wolf in sheep's clothing.
