The Mini, originally Morris Mini Minor and Austin Seven, released simultaneously, was an entry-level car designed for BMC by Anglo-Greek engineer Alec Issigonis and manufactured in Longbridge, a residential area of Birmingham, England. It was sold under several brands: Austin, Morris, Rover, Wolseley, Riley, Leyland under Spanish licence Authi and Italian Innocenti, before becoming its own brand in 1969.
The model marketed under the Innocenti brand was produced in Lambrate, a district of Milan.
The Spanish version of the Mini, sold under the Authi brand, was manufactured in Pamplona, in the province of Navarre.
