Lancia Rally 037 Winner Piancavallo 1985 N°1 Tabaton/Tedeschini 1:18

€200.00

The Lancia Rally project 037 (also known as Rally or Rally 037), a direct descendant of the Montecarlo Gr5s that won the World Rally Championship in 1979, 1980 and 1981, was unveiled at the end of October 1981 by engineer Sergio Limone1. This version was a prototype for the homologation of the Lancia 037 in the FIA Group B of the World Rally Championship.

GrB is a fairly permissive category, which is perfectly suited to Lancia's approach to motor racing. This category authorised four-wheel drive (in rallying), the use of technological materials (Kevlar, plastic windows) and allowed for major technical developments during the year.
