Limited edition miniature with numbered plate of 200 pcs

During the 1970 Interserie race at the Hockenheimring, the Porsche 917K reproduced by Norev bearing chassis number #917-021 wore a livery inspired by the famous «Hippie» 917 (chassis number #917-042), which had competed in the 24h of Le Mans a few weeks earlier and finished second overall.

Dutch racer Gijs van Lennep qualified the car, which had been completely rebuilt after a serious accident at Le Mans, in fourth place on the grid. He finished the race in second place behind the McLaren M6B driven by Vic Elford. The Norev model is a tribute to the original, which impresses not only thanks to its stunning successes, but also because of its incomparable elegance.
