Citroën BX 19 GT 1984 Fox Grey NL version 1:18 - 300pcs
Exclusive limited and numbered edition of 300 pcs
To be able to sell its BX in some European countries, Citroën had to make some slight changes.
For example, in the Netherlands, the BX is equipped with additional side repeaters.
Norev offers a Dutch version of the BX 19 GT that can be recognised by the :
- the attributes of a BX 19 GT: the fog lamps, the rear spoiler, the rubber rings on the bumpers, the specific rims
- the specific red decorative elements for a BX 19 GT Gris Renard: the GT logo on the bonnet, the GT logo and the piping along the body
- the side repeaters required by law
- and a "local" number plate
The parents of André Citroën, the founder of the brand, were originally from the Netherlands.
The name Citroën comes from the trade practised by André's great-grandfather, Roelof, a citrus fruit merchant in the Netherlands, who chose to call himself Limoenman ('lemon man').
Later, André Citroën's father changed his name to Citroen (which means 'lemon' in Dutch).
This relationship partly explains the passion of many Dutch people for this French brand.
