BMW 2002 tii Yellow 1:18

€165.00

In 1971, the 2002 brought out another variant with a sportier, sharper look. The TII version was equipped with the Kugelfischer mechanical injection engine already used on the BMW 2000. With a power output of 130 bhp and aided by its featherweight of 990 kg, the BMW 2002TII offered high performance for its time, with a top speed of 190 km/h and an unprecedented driving experience. Despite costing around DM2,000 more in Germany (around FF31,000 at the time) than the BMW 2002 TI, the BMW 2002 TII sold 40,000 units. A Touring version was also produced.

The 2002 TII ceased production in 1975. BMW waited eight years before offering a replacement based on the 3 Series, the M3.
